As a business owner, I have always believed in the importance of finding ways to give back to my community. My philosophy is that if you are generating income from the people around you, it is your duty to give back in various ways, including your time, energy, and financial resources.
Throughout my lifetime, I have pursued several professions that have equipped me with valuable knowledge to help others. I served in the United States Air Force and worked as a mortgage originator, business consultant, and in the insurance industry.
Additionally, I taught continuing education classes in fitness, weight loss, and both personal and business credit. I have a deep passion for public speaking, particularly on topics like work-life balance, fitness, and weight loss.
Being in a business that positively impacts people’s lives is of utmost importance to me. Presently, I am the owner of a moving services company, and what truly resonates with me in this venture is the opportunity to alleviate the immense stress associated with the moving process. In today’s fast-paced world, individuals are busier than ever, juggling demanding jobs and family responsibilities. Remarkably, moving ranks as the third most stressful life event, surpassed only by death and divorce. It is immensely rewarding for me to play a role in making this transition as smooth as possible for our clients.
While I have a genuine love for getting out into the field and being hands-on, my current focus is on expanding our team. Moving is an inherently physically demanding profession, and that is precisely why I prioritize maintaining my own fitness. Staying in good physical shape has been an integral part of my life journey, enabling me to strike a harmonious balance between my personal and professional life. It grants me the stamina and vitality necessary to lead a productive and fulfilling life, both within and outside the business realm.
“Allow me to clarify unequivocally: I abstain from smoking cigarettes and marijuana. I do drink, but I have never in my life been drunk. I do not derive sustenance from mac & cheese, fried chicken, hamburgers, or any of those fattening, heart attack-waiting-to-happen, age-accelerating agents. Dining out is a rare occurrence for me, reserved solely for weekends. Nor do I criticize anyone that does. Just be yourself. But for me, my life revolves around the principles of fitness and nutrition, the wellspring of my daily vitality. My professional journey finds its roots in my unwavering commitment to physical fitness. I attribute any achievements I’ve attained to the grace of God, who has blessed me with the resources to maintain the requisite attitude and stamina for accomplishing both personal and professional aspirations. Without prioritizing fitness, it would be inconceivable for a 60-year-old man to resemble a 40-year-old and possess the vigor of a 20-year-old in all facets of life.”
My absolute passion has always been fitness. I embarked on my fitness journey at the age of 10. Then, at age 18, I became a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter. After retiring from those pursuits, I transitioned into a career as a personal trainer and fitness and strength conditioning coach. With more than 40 years in the fitness industry, 7 certifications, training and consulting thousands of clients, I have honed my skills to help change people’s fitness levels. I am a certified personal trainer.
Although I have been in various other professions, and currently in the moving industry, I felt it would be a disservice not to share my fitness 30 plus years of expertise in fitness with others. After all I am in the HELP business. Helping people live a more quality life and be the best version of themselves.
Over the years, I have authored numerous articles, developed dozens of fitness and weight loss programs, and provided training and coaching to nearly two thousand clients.
Throughout my various roles, I’ve always been in the business of helping people. I have never felt guilty about earning money because I knew it meant I was aiding people in living a better quality of life.
I rely on fitness and health to provide me with the energy, strength, stamina, and power required to run a moving company successfully. It’s my deep-seated passion for fitness that keeps me going with super-human stamina. I am determined to share my health and fitness expertise with my community and all individuals for their benefit.
In pursuit of this goal, I have created the Paseo-Uptown Lifestyle Blog. This platform aims to create relationships with the community and business leaders. We aim to raise awareness of certain topics and issues, provide solutions, and empower people to take action in their personal and professional lives.
While you will come across spotlights and advertisements by myself and fellow business owners, my intention is for these offers to be mutually beneficial. I aspire to bridge the gap between community members and the business community, creating a win-win situation for everyone involved. I hope that this lifestyle blog serves everyone well, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Fitness Professional and Coach
EP Massey has been my trainer for almost 5 years. I don’t know where I would be without him. His personal experience as an elite body builder and years of experience as a trainer has given him a depth of knowledge that has really made a difference for me. He has helped me develop and maintain a much healthier diet. He has been very creative on keeping me on track with a very hectic work schedule. I have worked out off and on my whole life. Until I met EP I have had a hard time staying with a program long term. I have found him very motivational. Somehow he continues to make the workouts fun and has kept me in the game. I can’t recommend him high enough for someone that really wants to get in shape and enjoy better health. ~Don Jayne DDS~
I have been working with EP the last 21 days. I have lost 5 pounds. I feel stronger; the workouts are challenging and very doable. The eating protein is easier than I thought. I am finding that my body is caving healthy foods and not junk as much. I have more energy and sleep better at night.
I love EP’s philosophy of “progress not perfection”. I am not beating myself up when I am not doing exactly as planned. I am listening to my body and being gentle with myself.
EP is encouraging and caring about my progress. He sees the transformation to my body before we even started. He’s enthusiasm is genuine and his knowledge is unbeatable. I totally trust EP as my coach, mentor, and guide to well being. Thank you!!! ~ Lisa~
Crash? Say what?! Nope, I don’t know that word in my life!! Thanks EP! You’ve helped me restore consistency, balance and overall happiness! In my 27 years of existence this is the first time I haven’t had a stomach ache for two weeks. I don’t crash in the afternoon. I’m ready to go for anything and everything all day! I’ve lost 10 lbs. my skin is clear, my hair shiny, and my mood is great! The scale is the only thing crashing! ~Sharon E.~
To whom it may concern:
E.P. Massey has been a personal trainer for my husband & me the past 5 years. He arrives ready to motivate us at 6:30AM twice a week.
During this time, he has kept us working hard. He has kept our routines interesting by alternating weight training, interval training, and cardio kick-boxing, and always works around any sports related injuries or aches and pains we have. He has educated us regarding nutrition and when necessary, weight loss.
I had the privilege of meeting Mr. E. Pluribus Massey approximately one year ago at “All Star Fitness” in Seattle, WA. Since then, I’ve had numerous opportunities to engage in discussions with EP about fitness, nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle. I consider him to be one of the most well-informed and comprehensive sources of information on these subjects.
EP’s knowledge is rooted in his personal experience as a bodybuilder and powerlifter. He has rigorously tested various nutrition strategies on himself, which have allowed him to proudly maintain a body with body fat never exceeding 3%. He has dedicated countless hours to refining bodybuilding techniques and crafting the most effective workout routines for achieving exceptional shape and definition.
In addition to his practical experience, EP has significantly expanded his knowledge by devouring hundreds of books on nutrition and fitness. He generously recommended some of these books to me, and I found them to be incredibly valuable for a course on the Physiology of Nutrition that I will soon be teaching to students at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy.
EP has utilized his wealth of knowledge to enhance the quality of life for countless individuals seeking cleaner eating habits and a fitter physique. He has personally trained many of them and has delivered captivating talks to others.
What sets EP apart is his unwavering commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the fitness world. No two workouts are ever the same, and the concept of “boredom” is entirely foreign to EP’s training approach. He excels at keeping his clients highly motivated and tailors his fitness and nutrition programs to meet each individual’s specific needs. Whether it’s helping people get in shape, preparing athletes for competitions, or assisting professionals in roles like personal training or law enforcement, EP has the expertise to create personalized programs.
EP has worked with individuals of all genders, ages, and fitness levels. Regardless of a person’s current fitness level or their fitness aspirations, EP can customize a program that encompasses cardiovascular training, strength training, circuit training, power exercises, and nutrition guidance. ~By Giulia Curio Scientist, Researcher, Professor at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia~

Extremely helpful team of movers that strategically put all of my items into storage for me. They listened when I requested things to stay on the truck or be moved around in the storage container. They took great care of my expensive paintings as well and came up with a strategy to keep them protected. Fantastic service and will definitely hire them again.
Quick and reliable. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for professional movers!

Two days before move and mover has not called to schedule time. I called them twice and was sent to voicemail both times.
